When process acrylic material, silk-screen would be used sometimes, but pictures parts have dirt or dried solid commonly. It often appeared on the process. For example, silk-screen acrylic sign, we should clear screen,stop print machine, and take up the screen, worker scrubbed the screen forcely, the notice swore whole print shop, the screen damaged easily.
Few expert worker to clear stencil screen forcely, because he knew picture required definiting photographic layer,forcely scrubbing will wore photographic layer,even only screen mesh left.
When painting screen density colorful picture,emulsifier film under silk screen only had 5-6μm, the mesh wire had 30μm, not wearlessly. So, forbidding ruined stencil screen was key to avoid forcely clearing.
Stencil ruined,the most important reason was printing ink uncontrolled, dried ink left in the mesh.When used solvent-based ink or water color ink, the reason is uncontrolled concentration of ink, it will be better when trasfering ink if addition added. In addition, adding some transferred ink to make new ink fluently. When used UV solid ink, try to stop screen attached sunshine or other light.
Another ink-controlling question was print speed. Auto-control or hand-control painting machine will make ink suppling full or lacking, lacking part will dried soon.
The last Ink-dried reason was ink blade wrong located or wore,when use painting screen density print tiny picture, sharp ink blade required, with horizon 75°.when ink blade wore or changing, picture’s definition getting down, it means ink cant pass mesh correctly, then ink dried. To avoid such problem, workers should roll-over the ink blade to extend time, or change new blade before picture unclear.
In order to renew the mesh, we also should pay attention to clear ink inner or acrylic’s appearance, it come form static adsorbed dust or un-welled store environment. About this, we could improve stored environment and craft controlling, and use static eliminator to delete appearance of acrylic.
What should we do if stencil ruined? When using stage silk painting print machine, stop machine after print a set pics, input a piece of blotter, silk screen will clear soon.
Take the silk screen on printing location, use soft cloth with clear agent scrub dirt appearance. Forcelessly. Then feculence will falling down cross mesh, if necessary, clear again. Some feculence can’t cross mesh, use soft cloth stick on, when clear over, wind-blower(cold wind) dried stencil blade.
When clear cylinder screen printing press, you’ll meet different conditions. According to design construction, we can’t clear like common press, with the sooner print speed, ink did not dry quickly, if so, first stop print machine after a set pics, then use non corrosive soft cloth with clear agent scrub on top of picture’s part, to clear mesh feculence.
Sometimes feculence under stencil also need clean, on this condition, scrub the dirty things softly.
In the process of manufacturing, the upper cleaning ways should be used recently, to extend live of stencil, reduce defective index.
